Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park - California State Parks
The California State Park works closely with the California State Government in an effort to preserve the heritage of Allensworth. As the first Black colony in the State, Allensworth is a historical living museum under the auspices of the California State Park. The Friends of Allensworth is the official cooperating association for the Allensworth State Historic Park whose mission is to support, promote, and advance the educational and interpretive activities of the Park.
